1. Vietnamese Reunification Day 30/4: Date & Meaning
Vietnamese Reunification Day is observed on April 30th each year, known as “Ngay Thong Nhat” or “Ngay Giai Phong” in Vietnamese. It marks the fall of the Saigon government on the 30th of April 1975, when Viet Cong and North Vietnamese troops captured Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). This brought the Vietnam War to an end and began the process of unification of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North) and the Republic of Vietnam (South). The significance of this day lies in the reunification of the country and the establishment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. It is a day of pride and joy for the Vietnamese people as they commemorate the sacrifices made during the war and celebrate the unity of their nation.2. International Labour Day 1/5
International Labour Day, celebrated globally on May 1, honors the hard work and contributions of workers in every industry. In Vietnam, it is an occasion for businesses and communities to recognize the dedication of their workforce and to promote well-being and solidarity.3. A Message from Midland Rubber Company
